ACTIVITIES The MOMS Club of Brighton provides many activities and services for our members. A calendar is included in each monthly newsletter to inform our members of upcoming events. We periodically add and change things as needed, based on the suggestions of our members. We try to provide a variety of programs for everyone's needs and interests. Ideas for new programs and improvements are always welcome. Here is a brief description of a few of the activities and services the club currently provides. Playgroups: Our playgroups meet a couple of times a month. Playgroups are one of our most popular offerings because they create an instant network of moms with similarly aged children and provide lasting friendships. Park Play Dates: This summer we met at local parks convenient for our members so our Moms and their children can play and interact with each other. Local parks might include Benedict Park, Adams County Fairground Park, and the Brighton Recreation Center Park. Moms Night Out: Once a month our moms have the opportunity to get out and socialize. Our Mom's Night Out might include meeting at a restaurant, Diner and a Movie, a hike a Chautauqua Park, spa night at a member's house. Field Trips: Field trips are planned usually at least twice a month. This Fall our field trips included plays at a local theatre, Breakfast with Santa, Local fire stations, Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, The Kangaroo Kingdom, and The Berry Patch Farms.
